The required thickness should be selected around the application rather than treated as a universal number.
EPS panels
EPS (expanded polystyrene) panels can be a practical option where the project needs insulated construction and the performance requirement is less demanding. The correct choice depends on the cabin use, operating hours, climate exposure, AC load and project budget.
How to specify the right panel
Ask the supplier to state panel type and thickness, wall and roof construction, joint treatment, exterior sheet, interior finish and any thermal or fire-performance information relevant to the project. This makes quotations easier to compare on a like-for-like basis.
